Sassafras Springs was a lovely spot for our family getaway. We stumbled upon this charming cottage, and the rustic decor instantly felt like home. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the little playground outside, and they especially loved visiting the chickens. Each morning, we picked fresh veggies from the garden, which added a fun, hands-on element to our meals. The spacious kitchen made it easy to cook together as a family, and we even had a BBQ night under the stars. Watching the kids engage with the environment was a highlight for us as eco-tourism advocates. One of the best aspects was the manager, Briony, who made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. Our stay was peaceful, and it provided a perfect backdrop for family bonding. We definitely wished we could stay longer and make more memories. A highly recommended spot for families!
